Law Intern to ISO 27001 Achiever
When law student Ellie joined us for her paid six-month internship, we put her through an internal auditor course with BSI. This helped her to achieve her LLB (First Class) and helped us to gain our prized ISO 27001-certification.

Micro Internship April 2025
When Maryam joined us for a week on a micro internship, she was tasked to create a short animation for a skin product to show how and where the ingredients acted. She gained appreciation of the importance of conducting in-depth research and thorough project planning to create a scientifically correct but beautiful end piece in keeping with the brand’s style.
"I gained valuable insight into how the industry functions, especially when it comes to client projects and the process involved. Seeing real examples of work helped me understand the professional standards expected in the industry."

Micro Internship April 2025
Lydia had to research, design and model a face razor holder for a popular brand. She had to design and build an AR demo to showcase the benefits of their design, all whilst gaining an overview of the design process from research to build, including how to request assets from team members as well learning new AR software and then finally presenting in front of the D5 team.
"I truly had such an amazing experience and I learnt so much from my short time on-site, it was eye-opening to see the day-to-day of a busy, working studio!"

Fostering talent for the future
As part of our drive to “give back”, we work closely with Oaklands College hosting several workshops and live briefing sessions a year, helping Science, Engineering and ICT students gain experience of employer-lead tasks, deadlines and feedback. We deliver briefs based on case studies, guide students as to best practices and provide them with real-world scenarios to develop critical science communication skills through teamwork and individual tasks.
“I believe this was an amazing experience and taught me a lot about working in a team.” George, Year 2 Science
